WHAT’S THE STORY?

I slowly climbed up the stairs to the attic.  I walked to the box and opened it.  There it was, tears hit my eyes and rolled down my cheeks.  My Great Nan’s treasure chest.
The purple and blue polka dotted chest stood faded, chipped and broken.  One drawer was missing.  It was still beautiful.
I suddenly remembered her giving it to me just before she died.  I looked in one of the drawers and saw Great Nan’s ring that Great Poppa had given her just before he went to war.  Great Nan and Poppa died that same year.

My holiday

I didn’t really like my holiday, because of the first week from boring Monday morning to Thursday night.  I was at my mother’s parent’s house. On the Thursday night Nicola, Petra and I went to wAIhi together in the boring, old car.

We had to go to my father’s parents house from Tuesday morning to Saturday morning, and it was boring!
Good rhyme right?

On the Saturday night I had a sleep-over with Cassie CarRuthers.

Term 4!  We are back!                 Post by Matthew

For our goals we made parachutes.

First we took pictures of us hanging off the monkey bars.

Then we coloured in parachutes and laminated them.

Next we made the strings to attach the people to the parachutes.  For this, we needed some teamwork!
