We have Anzac Day because it reminds us of the soldiers who went to war to save our lives. Some died, some lived.  None of us would be here but for them.
My great, great, great grandfather went in the war. My grandfather died.  I will remember the Halliday the went in the war.
When some came back from the war they wanted to remember their friends that fought alongside them.
We wear poppies because that type of flower was growing where they died.  That is why we have Anzac Day.  Come back for us, we wish you never died Australian and New Zealand people.
